How 234 Talent Solutions handles personal data across the 234 Solutions platform.

Last updated: 18 June 2026

1. Who we are

234 Solutions is operated by 234 Global Ventures Limited (RC 9595595), of 12A Olusegun Aina Street, Parkview Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria, trading as 234 Talent Solutions(“we”, “us”, “our”). We provide HR, payroll, time, compliance, and workforce-operations software to businesses in Nigeria and across Africa. This policy explains how we handle personal data when you visit our website, request a demo, or use the platform.

We aim to comply with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and the NDPR, and with applicable data-protection laws in the other markets we serve.

2. Controller vs. processor

Our customers (employers) decide what employee data to put into the platform and why. For that data, the customer is the data controller and we act as a data processor— we process employee data only on the customer's documented instructions to provide the service.

For data we collect directly — for example, account-holder details, billing contacts, website visitors, and demo requests — we act as the controller.

3. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, work email, phone, role, and company details of the people who administer or use the platform.
  • Employee data (processed for customers): employee records, job and pay details, bank account details, statutory IDs, leave and attendance, documents, and related HR information your employer chooses to manage in the platform.
  • Usage and device data: log data, IP address, browser, and actions taken in the product, used for security, auditing, and improving the service.
  • Enquiry data: information you give us when you request a demo, contact sales, or email us.

4. How we use data

  • Provide, operate, secure, and support the platform.
  • Authenticate users and enforce access controls and tenant isolation.
  • Process payroll drafts, records, and reports on a customer's instruction.
  • Maintain audit logs of sensitive actions for security and compliance.
  • Respond to demo requests, sales enquiries, and support tickets.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use employee data for advertising.

5. Legal bases

Where we are a controller, we rely on: performance of a contract (providing the service to account holders), legitimate interests (security, product improvement, B2B marketing to business contacts), consent (where required, e.g. certain communications), and legal obligation. Where we are a processor, the legal basis for processing employee data is determined by the customer as controller.

6. Sharing and sub-processors

We share data only as needed to run the service: with vetted sub-processors (such as cloud hosting, database, email delivery, and file storage providers), with our customer's authorised users, and where required by law. Sub-processors are bound by contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

7. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit, encryption of particularly sensitive fields at rest (such as bank account details), strict role-based access control, per-tenant data isolation, audit logging of sensitive actions, and optional multi-factor authentication for accounts.

No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect data appropriately to its sensitivity.

8. Data retention and deletion

We retain customer data for as long as the customer's account is active. After an account is closed or a subscription is cancelled, the customer can request export of their data, and we will delete or anonymise customer data within one (1) year after the account is closed, unless we are required to retain it by law. We retain limited records (e.g. billing and audit logs) as needed for legal and security purposes.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, individuals may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection regarding their personal data. Because much of the data in the platform belongs to an employer (controller), employees should usually direct requests to their employer; we will assist our customers in responding.

10. International transfers

We may process data on infrastructure located outside your country. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we take steps to ensure an adequate level of protection consistent with applicable law.

11. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to secure the platform, and limited analytics to understand and improve the website. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

12. Children

The platform is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to children.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify customers of material changes.
