What is 234 Solutions?
234 Solutions is an HR and payroll platform for Nigerian and African businesses. It brings employee records, payroll, leave, attendance, documents, requests, and compliance into one place. People management is the system of record; payroll, leave, and attendance are optional modules you can switch on as you need them.
Which countries do you support?
We focus on Africa, with Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, and South Africa as primary markets. Nigerian statutory handling (PAYE, pension, NHF, NSITF) is built in.
Can I import my existing employees and payroll data?
Yes. You can bulk-import employees from a CSV or XLSX file. The importer validates every row, shows a preview of valid and invalid rows, lets you fix issues, then creates the records and their pay setup on confirmation.
Does it handle PAYE, pension, NHF, and NSITF?
Yes. Nigerian statutory deductions are part of the payroll setup and are calculated as draft line items on payroll runs for your review. You stay in control of the final figures.
Does the platform actually pay my employees or file taxes?
By default, no. The payroll module prepares drafts, payslips, and records for review — it does not move money or file taxes automatically. If you want us to handle disbursement and verification, that is available through a separate managed-payroll engagement.
Is my data secure?
Security is built in: encryption in transit, encryption of sensitive fields like bank details at rest, strict role-based access control, per-company data isolation, audit logging of sensitive actions, and optional multi-factor authentication.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
You can export your data, and we delete or anonymise it within a reasonable period after cancellation, unless we are legally required to keep certain records. The details are in our Privacy Policy.
Do I have to use payroll to use the platform?
No. Only People is mandatory. Payroll, leave, and attendance are optional — enable just the modules that fit how you work.
Is there a portal for employees?
Yes. Employees get a mobile-first self-service portal to view payslips, clock in and out, request time off, submit loan or expense requests, and access their documents.
Can I manage payroll for several companies?
Yes. There is a dedicated operations view for HR/BPO teams that run payroll and HR across multiple client companies, with strict separation between each company's data.
